The highly successful annual fashion show is about to take center stage again!!! The Parents’ Association, Staff and Students of CCS Mooncoin are busy preparing for Friday nights event. Doors open at 7.15 pm with the show commencing at 8 pm. A night not to be missed!! Come and enjoy!!
Fifth and Sixth Class pupils and their parents/guardians are invited to and an open night at Coláiste Cois Siúire on Thursday, 1o October commencing at 7 pm. Coláiste Cois Siúire Sports Day and BBQ takes place tomorrow, Thursday, 19 May. A contribution of €2 per student will be collected on Thursday morning. Students do not need to wear uniform – track suit with appropriate footwear. Sports Day, music and BBQ will end at 2 pm approx.
Coláiste Cois Siúire Parents’ Association are currently very busy preparing to host our annual fashion show. This event will take place on Friday, 25 March in the Parochial Hall at 8 pm. Congratulations to First Year Students Sarah Norris, Lorraine West, Leona Dunne and Jessica Walsh whose enterprise ‘Dream Catchers’ won ‘Best Display Award’ at the Kilkenny Enterprise Awards 2011.
Our Variety Concert The X Factor was a great success. The students and staff worked extremely hard to bring the show together. It is that time of year again!! Maths week is rolling into school and runs from 9th to 16th October. As part of this week we are encouraging students to see maths as a fun activity by getting them to sample some online games catering for all ability and skill levels.
This year, the County Kilkenny VEC Scholarship for Gaeilge has been awarded to Joanne O’Brien, a second year student. Joanne will spend two weeks in Coláiste Bhréanainn, Baile an Bhuineánaigh, Co Chiarraí. Cómhgairdeas Joanne!!
