VSWare

From Monday 24th of October 2022, Coláiste Cois Siúire will be changing how we report on absences from school, latecomers to school and leaving school early (i.e. medical appointments). This means that if your son or daughter is absent from school, late to school or is leaving school early, this must be explained via VSWare only. Here is what parents need to do:

  1. Download and use the VSware Parent App.
  2. Note that the school homework journal will no longer be used to explain an absence/late/early departure.
  3. Please do not phone the school to explain an absence for your son/daughter.

Parents can continue to login to VSWare via an internet browser if they wish: colaistecoissiuire.vsware.ie

Click here for supporting information and detailed instructions on how to report an absence using  VSWare.

There will be a VSWAre Clinic in operation in the school on Tuesday 25th of October 2022 for any parent who wishes to get some one-to-one support using the VSWare app. Please contact Ms Diane Hyde, HSCL, on 087 6472195 to book in a suitable time.

A high percentage of families are already using VSWare to view important information about your son/daughter’s attendance, class/term/CBA assessments and merits/demerits. The absence reporting is simply an additional function of the current information available.

You will have received a reminder about your VSWare Username by text message from the school. If you are unsure about your VSWare username please email info@colaistecoissiuire.ie or contact the school on 051895112.

VSWare usernames are sent to the contact mobile number on the school system. Parents must ensure their contact number is up-to-date.

Technical support in using VSWare is available from Ms Diane Hyde (HSCL) while we implement these changes. To arrange support please email the school on info@colaistecoissiuire.ie
